And welcome to our website. We have two beautiful Trulli houses near Cisternino, and a compact but wonderful old apartment in the heart of the Cisternino itself available for holiday rentals.
The Trulli houses are traditional stone built dwellings with conical roofs (Trullo Della Quercia has three cones). This picturesque and quaint type of property can only be found in the Itria Valley in Puglia, Southern Italy. The thick stone walls make the trulli cool in summer and warm in winter.
Trullo Stefano and Trullo Della Quercia have both been completely but sympathetically restored - losing none of their ancient charm while providing our guests with all the modern conveniences they expect whilst on holiday.
Both of the trulli are set in idyllic rural locations, surrounded by cool, centuries old, olive groves. Less than five minutes drive away is the small city of Cisternino sitting on top of a hill over three hundred metres above sea level.
Our apartment Casa Caterina (named after my wife Kate) is in the very centre of this pretty town.
Watch the world go by from the little balcony, practise your Italian negotiating skills in the Monday market or sit and enjoy an ice cream or a sumptuous Puglianese feast in one the many small bars and restaurants close by.
Whether you choose one of the Trulli houses or Casa Caterina we are sure you'll have a wonderful holiday in this beautiful and undiscovered corner of Italy.
